Diocese of Joliet
Committee on the Environment sponsored a week-long workshop to raise awareness of mountain-top removal coal mining. The workshop was part of a JustFaith Ministries formation program on Catholic social teaching. University of St. Francis offered a week of environmental awareness events aimed at drawing attention to issues such as global warming and promoted activities for a "green" campus. ![]()
